SRM has long experience from developing and producing tailor made high precision grinding machines for tools and rotors. Our unique and deep knowledge about rotor development is an advantage when developing grinding machines, we understand your needs.
The software is special design for disc-cutters, end-mills and our newly developed finger-cutters for large rotors. The grinding machine can also grind rotors for screw compressors and screw pumps. The machines are equipped with a measuring probe to get compensation values in order to get the best possible profile accuracy and finally a protocol of the end results.
Cutters for milling are available both as traditional disc-cutters and our newly developed finger-cutters for larger rotors. The cutter blades are ground mounted in the cutter body within a tolerance of ±0,005 mm. For all type of cutters, it’s possible to produce several setups of blades and mount them back with a very high accuracy.

Profile Cutter grinding machine - PG700
The PG 700 CNC of the SRM Line has been specially designed for grinding of cutters for compressor and screw pumps rotors. Cutters up to Ø 500mm can be grinded with extremely high accuracy, which can completely eliminate the need for finish grinding to achieve the required tolerance. The extreme narrow grinding operation is achieved thanks to the flexible swiveling grinding spindle, an integrated probe measuring device and the specially designed software.
Rotor grinding machine - RG 600 CNC
The RG 600 CNC of the SRM Line is specially designed for grinding of compressor and screw pump rotors. Due to the flexible design with 3 (optionally up to 6) spindles, roughing, finishing and also cylindrical grinding of diameters can be made in the same setup without re-clamping the tool, changing wheels etc. Integrated hydraulically driven dresser for automatic dressing of rotor profile with direct import from CAD or text file.
The RG 600 CNC can be equipped with an automated robot loading system for increased productivity.
Tool and Cutter grinding machine - TG 600 CNC
With its high flexibility, rigid design and high spindle power the TG 600 CNC is the perfect machine for heavy production and re-sharpening of high precision cutting tools. Due to the current design with up to 6 grinding spindles that can carry up to 4 grinding wheels on each spindle, it can grind complex tool geometries in one setup.
The TG 600 CNC can be equipped with an automated robot loading system for increased productivity.
