The K-418 is a screw compressor made for compression of corrosive gases and gases that contains water drops or high amount of H2S. For that purpose, parts of the compressor is manufactured in high grade stainless steel.
The compressor is “oil free” in the respect that lubrication oil for bearings is prevented from entering the process gas in compression.
The compressor is successfully used in numbers of applications for handling of process gases and in the process of heavy oil refinery.
