Oil-free compressors are highly appreciated by many industries that require clean and oil-free compressed air. The 1-stage oil-free compressor for air are limited in outlet pressure by temperature of the outlet compressed air. For that reason, a 2-stage arrangement are used already from pressure ratios around 5. In such solutions compressed oil-free air is cooled between the two stages.
