The water lubricated biogas compressors in the WB range are designed for compression of raw biogas typically in biogas upgrading plants. The direct injection of water in the compressor results in improved CO2 absorbtion when water scrubber technology is use, but the compressor is also well suited for membrane separation systems as well as other systems where corrosive and explosive gases are compressed in the presence of water.
WB compressors have proven excellent reliability and in some plants more than 50 000 hours of service with no maintenance. The compressor is so far used in more than 50 installations worldwide by different packagers since 2008.
